GP 400 Z

Briquette press with plier technology for continuous operation

For maximum residual material quantities

The GROSS GP 400 Z is GROSS’s most powerful briquetting press featuring plier technology, designed for the wood industry. It compresses large quantities of wood chips, sawdust, and sanding dust into dimensionally stable, rectangular briquettes and achieves a throughput of up to 450 kg per hour, depending on the material. This makes it ideal for industrial facilities with high volumes of wood waste — for their own use or for sale.

Technical specifications

The material to be briquetted is fed into the storage hopper either manually or automatically via a filter or conveyor system. A continuously running agitator and a separately controllable discharge screw then transport it to the pressing unit. There, the material is first pre-compacted and then pressed into the finished briquette without the addition of binders. To ensure reliable processing, the material moisture content must not exceed 18 percent.
